Sophia loves lots of activities, but her favorite one is dance! She loves to dance around her room and perform for her toys.
But sometimes Sophia gets bored at home. She wishes she had friends to play with.
Sophia wants to be brave and try something new. She decides to try a dance class. Maybe she will make new friends there!
On the first day of class, Sophia is nervous. She worries about what to say to other children in her class.
There are so many new children in her class. Sophia is worried it will be hard to make friends with them!
Sophia decides to show her class some of her favorite dances. The other children are excited and also ask Sophia to teach them too!
Soon, Sophia has lots of friends and is excited to dance with them each week in class.
At the end of the class, Sophia and her friends perform their dance in front of an audience. Sophia’s family even comes to watch.
Sophia’s family is so proud of her for trying new things and being brave that they bring her flowers.
Sophia is proud of herself, too! After meeting new friends in dance class, Sophia realizes that being brave can also be fun. She can’t wait to try other new things!
