How it Works

Personalized content for what they need—over time or right now.

Nookly creates personalized stories, songs, games, videos, podcasts and activities for children. Set a goal and Nookly builds a plan, or make one thing on demand. Everything can be created in English or Arabic and kept inside the child’s own safe Nook.

For families, teachers and therapists · Zero ads · No infinite feed

    The Nook

    How Nookly works

From child to finished thing, in five steps.

    Step one

First, Nookly gets to know the child.

Before anything is made, you tell Nookly who this child actually is — how they look, who lives in their house, the friends and pets they talk about, and what they are obsessed with this month. Everything Nookly creates later is built from this one profile.

Set up once. Reused in everything after.

    • Home

      Mom, Dad and baby brother

    • Best friend

      Chloe from school

    Zara, age 5

Zara, a five-year-old in a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans
    • Interests

Dinosaurs, puddles and the colour red

    • Pets

      Biscuit, a very slow tortoise

    In your language

Make their world sound like home.

Create personalized stories, songs, games and activities in English or Arabic using the same child, goal and family context. Arabic content supports correct right-to-left layout, text shaping and narration. Spanish and French are on the way.

    Zara and the Brave Dinosaur

Zara held her dinosaur close and waved goodbye.

Same child. Same goal. The whole layout flips, not just the labels.

Every adult sees a different version of the same child.

Home, classroom and therapy room each hold a piece of the picture. Nookly keeps those pieces in one place, so the story a child gets is shaped by everyone who knows them — not just whoever typed last.

A family and their child standing together

They see the child at home

    Families and caregivers

Bedtime worries, big feelings, what makes them laugh, what they are secretly proud of.

“She has been nervous about her first sleepover.”

They see the child in a group

    Teachers

How they learn, who they sit next to, where confidence dips and where it takes off.

“He reads beautifully, but freezes when it is his turn aloud.”

They see the child up close

    Therapists

The specific goals, the small steps, the supports that make a hard moment doable.

“Transitions go better with a visual sequence.”

Together in one Nook: shared goals, shared context, shared stories. Every perspective complements the others, and the child gets the benefit of all of them.

    Built with boundaries

A child’s attention is not for sale.

Nookly is designed around adult intention, finite experiences and content made for a real child—not around keeping children watching. Our Charter explains the principles we use to decide what Nookly should build and what it should never become.

    • TrustAI for kids should always be honest that it’s AI, never posing as a child’s friend, teacher, or trusted adult.
    • ImaginationAI for kids should expand imagination rather than replace it, leaving a child room to invent, change, and surprise us.
    • WonderAI for kids should leave time to wonder, get bored, and notice things, because not every moment needs an answer.
    • GroundednessAI for kids should let experiences finish naturally, with no infinite feeds or tricks designed to keep children there.
    • CommunityAI for kids should give parents, teachers, caregivers, and child-development experts a real voice in how it’s built.
