A little about us

# A bigger world for every l i t t l e m i n d.

Childhood is full of possibility. We’re here to help families make more of it.

Nookly uses AI to turn your child’s interests, questions, and goals into personalized learning experiences. Made for their world. With you at the heart of it.

Meet our kind of learning

A whole world of “what if?”

Little readers Big questions Brave ideas Everyday discoveries Room to grow

Why this matters

## Children are falling behind. Parents are stretched thin.

Kids have more access to knowledge than any generation in history, yet they’re falling further behind than any generation in two decades. The screens around them were built for watch time, not for kids, and the parents and teachers around them are left filling the gap.

01 / Struggling kids

40%

#### of U.S. fourth graders read below basic, the worst rate since 2002.

NAEP Nation’s Report Card · 2024 (https://www.nationsreportcard.gov/reports/reading/2024/g4_8/national-trends/?achievement-level-trends=&grade=4)

02 / Built to hook, not help

7% → 47%

#### of kids under 8 now have their own tablet, up from 7% in 2013.

Common Sense Census · 2025 (https://www.commonsensemedia.org/sites/default/files/research/report/2025-common-sense-census-web-2.pdf)

03 / A burned-out care community

48%

#### of parents say stress is completely overwhelming on most days.

U.S. Surgeon General Advisory · 2024 (https://www.hhs.gov/surgeongeneral/reports-and-publications/parents/index.html)

U.S. research. Tablet ownership and parental stress are based on parent reports. Follow each source for the study details.

And now, AI.

No one can tell a parent exactly what education will look like in ten years. But we can start giving children the foundations to read, question, create, and find their own way.

The future we’re building for

## AI should open up their world.

Imagine the possibilities of a creative studio and a science lab, within reach while they’re still little. A place to investigate a question, make something of their own, and discover a skill they didn’t know they had.

Our ambition is to help children build a rich collection of skills before age ten—from science and design to storytelling and problem-solving—with the adults who love them close by.

More wonder. More “I made this.” More them.

Our whole-child approach

## Their whole world belongs in the picture.

A child is a reader, a question-asker, a friend, a maker, and so much more. Their learning should make room for all of it.

One wonderfully **whole child.**

Reading & language Curiosity & discovery Creativity & expression Everyday independence Feelings & connection

Connected parts of one growing person.

01

### See the child behind the age.

Their interests, strengths, relationships, routines, and goals give learning meaning. Personalization starts with what you choose to share.

02

### Make room for their village.

Parents, grandparents, caregivers, and educators each see a different part of a child. We’re building a richer understanding of each child around the knowledge these adults choose to contribute.

03

### Many ways to learn. Their own pace.

Play, inquiry, guided practice, and real-world projects each have something to offer. Our aim is to use adults’ observations of behavior and progress to meet each child where they are, with room to practice or explore further.

Media literacy starts small

## A curious mind is a powerful filter.

Growing up with AI should mean learning to question what it makes. We want children to develop their own judgment alongside their imagination.

With an adult beside them, a story or a picture can become the start of a useful conversation.

Three little questions. Big habits.

1. 01
   ### Who made this?
A person? AI? Both? Talk about how something was made and what it is trying to do.
2. 02
   ### How do we know?
Separate make-believe from facts. Check a surprising claim together in a trusted book or source. AI can get things wrong.
3. 03
   ### What could I make or try?
Draw a different ending. Test an idea. Tell your own story. Take something from the screen into the world.

Built with care

## A little technology. A lot of human thought.

### Knowledge from people who know children.

Over two years, we’ve gathered resources and practical knowledge from professionals who support children. That foundation shaped our move toward families and helps ground the content we generate.

### You choose the purpose. You stay involved.

Adults guide what Nookly creates and the context it uses. Content moderation and professional knowledge support that process, alongside your judgment and supervision.

### A beginning, a middle, and time to go play.

Experiences are finite, with no endless feed, child-facing ads, or autoplay. The point is what a child takes into a conversation, a book, a routine, or an adventure outside.

A note from Radwa

## It started with a little magic.

Some of my most treasured childhood memories are of my family gathered around the cartoons my dad brought home. Those stories made the world feel bigger.

After losing him, my mum reminded me how much we need one another. A child grows with a village around them: people who notice, encourage, and make room for possibility.

Nookly is my way of carrying that care forward. A love letter to the adults who shaped us, and to the children discovering their own worlds now.

With love, Radwa

A note from Zeina

## Every child plays their own game.

I was never the typical girly girl growing up—I wanted sneakers, a basketball, and eventually made it to the Syrian National Basketball Team.

Today, as a mom of three, I believe every child is unique, and parents know their kids best. AI gives us an incredible opportunity to make learning and play more personal—to create things that actually meet kids where they are and spark their curiosity.

After nearly a decade at Apple, that’s what drew me to Nookly: using technology to help every child learn, explore, and grow in their own way.

With love, Zeina

The people behind Nookly

## Builders. Mothers. Audaciously playful!

We bring our experience in technology—and the questions we carry home as parents—to the same work: making learning feel more personal.

What Nookly does today

## Start with their world. See where it goes.

Nookly is a personalized AI learning platform for children, typically ages 2–11. Start with one sentence about something your child wants to learn, practice, or understand.

Our AI planning and creation engine—the Imagineer—turns your request and the context you share into stories, songs, podcasts, games, activities, printables, and more.

Reading, science, everyday routines, creativity, big feelings. There are many ways to learn, and many places to begin.

See how Nookly works (https://nookly.com/how-it-works)

A little example

“Maya loves space. Help her feel confident reading aloud.”

One possible learning journey

1. **A story to read**
A space adventure, made around her interests.
2. **A song to join in**
A playful way to practice words aloud.
3. **A moment to share**
Tell someone about her favorite discovery.

**For an ongoing outcome:** a personalized learning plan, called a Blueprint, connects a finite series of experiences around a Goal. You can remove or reorder items, change their format, and choose how many arrive each week.

Their next discovery starts somewhere

## Let’s see where “what if” takes them.

One question. One moment. A world of possibility.
